We hope to have a number of guest speakers/preachers at our Sunday Masses during Lent this year.
On Sunday 18th February Ms Karen Casey, TROCAIRE, Head of Community Engagement and Outreach will speak at St. Nicholas and St. Mary’s on the work of Trocaire.
On Sunday 25th February Dean Niall Sloane, our neighbour at St. Mary’s Cathedral, will preach at our 11.30am Mass on the topic; “At a time when the Christian Churches are in freefall in Ireland; do we not still deserve to be a voice in the Market Place”.
On Sunday 3rd March Fr. Michael Long, a Kiltegan who ministered in Africa, an environmentalist, and now works at the Cabragh Wetlands Project, Holycross, Tipperary. Fr Michael will speak on the issue of the environment and Christianity
We look forward to welcoming our above speakers and we are pursuing a couple of other speakers on other subjects, but are awaiting confirmation of their availability
